UEF Snorkel diver

SNORKEL DIVER

    Snorkelling gives an opportunity to discover the shallower areas. Diving without an underwater air supply improves your physical condition, sense of safety in the water and diving technique as well. Regular usage of snorkel helps the improvement of correct breathing technique.
UEF Kid diver

KID DIVER

    Every child between 8 and 10 years of age, who can swim, has good water skills and has his/her parents' (guardian's) consent can attend a UEF Kid Diver course. This certificate authorises the diver only to perform dives in a swimming pool with a scuba instructor or a dive master, to a maximum depth of 3 m.
UEF Advenced kid diver

ADVANCED KID DIVER

    Children between 10 and 12 years of age who intend to dive also in natural waters can attend a UEF Advanced Kid Diver course (ability to swim, good water skills and parents' consent are necessary). This certificate authorises the diver to perform open water dives with a scuba instructor or dive master, to a maximum depth of 5 m.
UEF Junior open water diver

JUNIOR OPEN WATER DIVER

    The highest level of training for children is a Junior Open Water Diver course. Children past their 12th birthdays, who can swim and have good water skills are expected to the course. This course equals the training provided at UEF Open Water Diver courses with the exception that certified kids are only allowed to dive with a scuba instructor or a dive master to a maximum depth of 10 metres.

OPEN WATER DIVER

    Our Open Water Diver course is open to all ages from 14 and up (infants need written parental consent). Pre-requisites for the course: candidates have to be suitable for diving mentally, physically must be in good health, be a proficient swimmer and feel comfortable and relaxed in the water. Candidates have to agree to the conditions of training. The course comprises of a theory session, a basic pool training session and at least 4 open water diving sessions. Participants account for their mastery of theoretical knowledge in a written test and for their practical preparedness in an open water diving exam to a depth of at least 10 meters.

    Those who complete the UEF Open Water Diver course become Open Water Divers who are able to plan and conduct nondecompression dives to the maximum of 20 meters depth with a similarly rated diver. Divers have to be fully aware of all the dangers in the given depth and have to be able to rescue themselfes and their buddy. UEF Open Water Divers can realise nondecompression dives to the max. of 30 m with a Divemaster or a Instructor.

    UEF Open Water Divers with extensive experience in diving - with dives registered and certified in their Logbook- can develop their knowledge at UEF Advanced Open Water Diver courses. Pre-requisites being at least 20 open water dives. Participants review their previous knowledge and learn skills necessary for boat diving, night diving, sea current diving, wreck diving and orientation with a compass. Candidates also widen skills concerning self- and buddy rescuing. The course consist of a theory session, a pool-training session and at least 4 open water dives, at the end of the course participants take exams (both written and practical). Max. depth of diving for Advanced Open Water Divers with a similarly rated diver is 30 meters, with an instructor or a Divemaster 40 meters.

Speciality courses

Pre-requisites for specialty courses are Advanced Open Water Diver certification and Rescue Diver certification. Specialty certifications give further possibilities to collect unique diving experiences and experiments.
